I've had an interest in the arts since I was a child. At the age of 20 I got my first camera, from there my passion grew and hasn't stopped since. I immediately dove into self portraiture, using it as a medium to expand my knowledge and drive my artistic direction. My choice of subject matter comes from a place of intuition and is fuelled by a vigorous desire to observe and document the stories that unfold around me, and those stores in my head that otherwise go untold. While I love creating work for others to enjoy, I use photography as a means of self-expression – I make pictures for myself. I create photos to express emotions bottled up, to better understand my reality, and to convey my interpretation of the world around me.
