Jenaye Krushel, 21, born and raised in Medicine Hat Alberta, specializes in photography and Intaglio Printmaking. Krushel has had a passion for photography for longer than she can remember, but she has found a love for the Intaglio Printmaking method, it eventually took her world by storm towards the end of her second year of schooling. Krushel is at the end of her program, with a 2021 Graduation year, and is set to take part in the Gradation art Exhibition with a body of work completely of her choosing in 2020. Krushel’s primary disciplines for this body of work will be the Intaglio Printmaking method, and her secondary disciplines will be Drawing and Silk-screening. The subject for Krushel’s body of work will consist of her one (1) year old son, Quintin. The body of work will have a huge focus on love, the passage of time and memory. This correlates with the Hindsight theme for her Graduation Exhibition because Krushel is choosing to take aspects of her son’s life from birth up until now to tell the story of Quintin Krushel’s short life.
She hopes that this will show the love, and dedication a mother has towards her son.
